A while ago, Microsoft fixed the Ghost presence with Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business issue, but now it is back!
When a user, like me, has both Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business the unified presence doesn’t work anymore.
Since October, more and more users reported that the status is no longer in sync between both clients. No I found out that the state is no longer in sync and that
unified presence no longer works. And I found out the hard way: During a presentation!
And many, like me, depends on a Desk-Phone… And as long as there is no Microsoft Teams Client for my Polycom Phone i will mainly use Skype for Business for telephony.
But to be honest: I think that Microsoft doesn’t care that much about a broken unified presence, cause the focus is mainly on Microsoft Teams.
